MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project

Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements

Making sure that all the aims of the project are met, as well as providing advice during the phases of the project to ensure deadlines will be met and agreeing project objectives from the points of view both of engineering and of the client’s needs

Supervise the work of Engineers, Consultants, Contractors etc. and give them guidance when needed

Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
BSc/BA in Engineering, Building Science, or relevant field
-
4-7 years of experience in civil engineering/ project management within construction
-
Comfortable understanding of Design Drawings (Architectural, Civil, MEP etc.), Engineering and Architectural principles
-
Understanding of “Value Engineering” principle and methods and how these are affecting the budget and the time schedule
-
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
-
Good knowledge of MS Office, Autocad.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
-
A “Hand’s On” approach on tasks is considered as essential
-
Very good knowledge of Greek and English language
