A global Accountancy firm is looking for a Client Accountant to join their team in Malta. The main purpose of this role is to provide accounting back-office support services to local and international clients in various sectors. The ideal candidate will be part (ideally fully) ACCA qualified and have experience in a client accounting role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform periodic and annual closing journals and completion of management accounts

Liaise with the auditors during the annual audit

Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Fully qualified accountant or close to completing the accountancy qualification

Prior experience within a multi-client environment

Possesses excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
