An international Corporate Services firm is looking for an experienced Client Services Associate to join their team in Malta. You will be responsible for handling all clients in your portfolio and will be the main point of contact between the client and the Company on all matters relating to the client’s needs and requests. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and be in possession of a University Degree or a Diploma in a subject relating to business law, the law of business enterprises, banking or financial services. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the process of registering or creating the company, trust or foundation
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships and oversee the management of client accounts
  • Ensure client documentation and client files are up to date, in good order and organised
  • Act as an internal-company liaison for all client related matters
  • Interact with banks and financial institutions for the opening, maintenance and management of bank accounts
  • Handle all applicable compliance requirements
  • Attend client meetings and record meeting minutes as and when required
  • Liaise with accountants to ensure that accounting and tax records are maintained in terms of law
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure that timely statutory audits are prepared and submitted to the relevant authorities
  • Train and constantly update job knowledge
  • Support line managers to ensure business continuity, quality of work and continuous team development.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • In possession of a University Degree or a Diploma in a subject relating to business law, the law of business enterprises, banking or financial services
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • A good understanding of the Companies Act, Trusts and Trustees Act and Civil Code, including statutory record-keeping, and the compliance obligations impacting the administration of companies, trusts and foundations;
  • Proven organisational and project management skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
