A global Medical Consultancy company which provides Air Ambulance / aeromedical services is looking for a Clinical Support Services Manager to join their team in Malta. You will report to the CEO and be responsible for providing clinical support to their global operations from their Head Office in Malta. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management, development and mentoring of assigned team members
  • Coordinate tasks for team members and liaise with other departments requiring support
  • Work closely with Country or Project Managers to ensure client and project requirements are met
  • Liaise with QA department to ensure all issues relating to quality and risk are identified, monitored and managed
  • Work with relevant teams and individuals to achieve quality assured clinical services
  • Develop, agree and manage key performance indicators for the clinical support services
  • Set up administrative systems for the clinical support services team
  • Ensure all company equipment is tracked and accounted for
  • Maintain excellent business relationships with clients
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, identify new ways of working and create/change existing procedures and ensure correct completion
  • Ensure regular audit of the clinical support services department to ensure continuous improvements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a team
  • Ideally 2 to 3 years’ experience managing a remote team
  • Hold a professional clinical and/or medical qualification for Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist or equivalent
  • Experience in writing board level reports
  • Confident in delegating responsibilities and managing projects from inception to delivery
  • Previous experience in clinical services advantageous
  • Fluent in English a must and also French advantageous
