A niche law firm consisting of highly qualified individuals which is specializing in providing Corporate Services both in Cyprus and Internationally, is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team in Nicosia. The Compliance Officer will be responsible to supervise the KYC and AML functions as well as the GDPR matters. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in due diligence matters and must be a holder of the CySEC AML certificate. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply the Company’s due diligence process when establishing a business relationship

Supervising the KYC and AML function of the Company (policies and procedures including DAC6)

Supervise the GDPR function of the Company

Establish and monitor the GDPR policies and procedures

Review legal documents of the Company for internal compliance
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University degree holder in Law or any other relevant field
-
At least 2 years’ experience in Due Diligence Law matters

Solid knowledge of DAC6 is a must
-
Holder of CySEC AML Certification will be considered as a major advantage

Compliance background and experience is a must

Excellent understanding of risk assessment
