On behalf of our client one of the world’s largest financial services companies, GRS are looking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join their Limassol team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Compliance and AML within the Forex sector. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ongoing monitoring and oversight of regulatory development (CySEC regulation, MiFid II, GDPR etc.).

Close cooperation with Product and Operation teams to ensure the company operation is aligned with the regulatory requirements.

Implementation of regulatory developments into Company’s policies and practice.

Oversight of the leverage, best execution, and portfolio management functions.

Regulatory reporting monitoring across all departments (Compliance, Dealing, Finance).

Compliance monitoring (EU/UK): quarterly review of all company operations, in line with the regulatory guidelines and audit findings.

Supervision of Customer Facing Department’s communication with customers.

Oversight and approval of any marketing materials.

Ensuring the company has appropriate structure / governance, of which CySEC is notified.

Independent function, reporting directly to the Board.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University degree in Finance or Law.

A minimum of 3 years’ previous job experience in a related field.

A highly fluency in English along with Greek being favourable.

Extensive knowledge and experience with MIFID directives & CySEC regulations.

Open to creative solutions & business innovation; a team player.
-
Experience in Operations / Back Office is advantageous.

Strong communication and presentation skills; must be comfortable to communicate with the senior management and the regulator.

Strong verbal skills.
