On behalf of our client, a highly reputable property development firm, GRS are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their Ayia Napa based team. The successful candidate will have a degree in Real Estate or Business Administration, as well as 7 years minimum previous experience in a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review contracting documentation for all existing works and establish contracting parameters of future works

Ensure Contracts implemented are suitable to local conditions and Owner requirements.

Process and administer claims

Review existing consultant and contractor contracts to analyze the current scope and establish any adjustments necessary to meet objectives.

Develop contract commercial conditions.

Responsible for the payment process being effective to ensure correct and timely payment to contractors/consultants.

Monitor major Contracts control documents.
-
Establish controls for review and evaluation of Consultant/Contractor/ Suppliers performance.

Chair meetings and produce minutes where and when required

Assist the Employers Technical Representative when requested
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
BSc or Master’s degree in Construction or Project Management, Civil or Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Studies, Business or Contract Studies.

Registered Member of Technical Professional Body.

7-10 years of previous working experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of construction implementation with proven site experience and an understanding of buildability.

Excellent knowledge of both spoken and written forms of English is required.

Excellent communication skills and ability to compile information whilst having a structured approach to report writing.

Excellent level of computer literacy in Windows, Microsoft packages, AutoCAD/Revit, proficient in the use of specialist project management software, Oracle Primavera.

Broader knowledge of other disciplines of the construction sector is anticipated.
