MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
  • Advise clients on the optimal structuring of corporate entities, including formations, mergers, joint ventures and complex restructurings
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of transactional agreements, ensuring alignment with each client’s commercial objectives
  • Conduct thorough legal due diligence to identify risks, liabilities and regulatory considerations in corporate and financial services transactions
  • Research specialised areas of law and provide clear, timely guidance on how legislative developments may impact clients’ operations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business models and delivering tailored legal and regulatory solutions
  • Support clients in securing the necessary licences and regulatory approvals across sectors such as banking, insurance, investment management and capital markets
  • Contribute to thought leadership by preparing articles and insights on corporate, financial services and private client topics
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transactions involving the establishment and ongoing support of financial services licence holders, including those operating in digital assets, fintech, innovation and capital raising activities
  • 9Assist in drafting and refining internal policies and procedures to help clients meet evolving regulatory requirements
  • Provide support on compliance matters arising from ongoing supervisory processes and address ad hoc regulatory issues as they emerge
  • Deliver internal and client training on corporate and regulatory developments, offering practical perspectives on their impact across the industry
