A large IT consulting and innovative solutions company is looking to recruit a Corporate Compliance Officer for their offices in Nicosia. The candidate will need to identify regulatory changes that affect the company, ensure processes design and implementation, as well as to training employees accordingly. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Manage the day-to-day regulatory compliance
  • Provide review and comments to internal and external publications and related disclaimers and disclosures, advise on the rules, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Prepare regulatory filings, annual reviews, and risk assessments
  • Assist with the monitoring and conducting of compliance testing, and prepare and update policies and procedures and related training materials
  • Schedule and conduct internal audits, arrange external audits and prepare the department
  • Ensure development of business-specific policies and procedures; (create, review, implement, communicate, train, etc); develop process and methodology for documenting operations compliance workflows
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place to support and monitor the company’s current and new business, ensuring consistency with group standards and procedures
  • Develop and coordinate corrective action plans in response to deficiencies that are identified through internal monitoring/audits or external audits
  • Provide clarification/interpretation on requirements, documents response, and communicates to relevant parties
  • Provide support for various ad hoc compliance issues and projects to support and enhance the compliance program
  • Take responsibility for the existing company compliance and certifications such as occupational health and safety, environmental management, privacy and security, ethics & privacy, Code of Conduct, et
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of auditing or corporate compliance role
  • Fluency in English and Greek language
  • Experience and expertise in implementing a compliance program, including drafting and implementing compliance policies, training, auditing, monitoring, and conducting investigations
  • Team player with excellent judgment and high integrity
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and IT industry best practices
  • Demonstrable experience taking ownership of issues and providing practical advice
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 23001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, GDPR
  • Experience in developing & maintaining QMS, ISMS
  • Experience in Risk Assessment, and Audits
  • Ability to conduct readiness/gap assessments, and provide recommendations
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, threat modelling, and secure SDLC process
  • Understanding of DR / BCP
  • Understanding of IT and information security trends challenges
