GRS are looking for a Corporate Finance Executive on behalf of a reputable investment group focusing on the hospitality and the real estate sectors based in Limassol. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer with regards to financing, cash management, investment appraisal and forecasting activities of the Group, joining an organization with growth ambitions and opportunities. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Compiles monthly cash flow reports and prepares forecasts to ensure funds availability for covering business needs at the parent company level and across the Group
  • Prepares the monthly rolling forecast report for the Group
  • Prepares financial models for Group forecasting and business planning purposes to support the financial planning and analysis as well as the budgeting process of the Group
  • Prepares ad hoc financial models for investment appraisal purposes and supports the acquisition pipeline of the Group
  • Supports fundraising process either through debt, equity or hybrid instruments
  • Supports negotiations with banks for the financing (and refinancing) of Group acquisitions
  • Monitors the Group loan performance and prepares calculations to ensure compliance with bank covenants and loan terms
  • Liaises with peers and finance heads at Group subsidiaries to co-ordinate and ensure the timely flow of information to the parent company with respect to treasury and broader areas of responsibility
  • Prepares weekly bank balances reports
  • Liaises with the banks in relation to day-to-day activities
  • Performs month-end closing activities related to treasury
  • Supports the annual and interim statutory audits in relation to treasury matters
  • Supports valuation of Group assets by providing valuers with the required data and analysis
  • Supports the listing process of the parent company with preparation of admission documentation and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements thereafter
  • Assists CFO and the Finance team with presentations to the Board and other ad hoc requests
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Economics / Business Administration / Accounting or related field from a reputable institution
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, ACA, ACCA) will be considered a strong asset
  • At least 4 years of experience in the Corporate Finance function of a Big 4 practice or in a similar role in a structured environment
  • Experience with transactions /deals /corporate finance /real estate finance /project finance will be considered an asset
  • Experience with investment appraisals (NPV/IRR, valuations) and financial modelling will be considered an asset
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
  • Organised and pro-active attitude
  • Advanced analytical and numerical skills
  • Team spirit and high sense of responsibility
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
