A leading fund management company with offices in Nicosia and Limassol, are working with GRS to recruit a Corporate Lawyer. The successful candidate will have experience in a Legal Consultant role, with experience in licensing matters and must be fluent in Greek and English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Help the Company minimize its legal risks by advising the Company's Executive Board on any major legal and regulatory issues the Company faces

Analyze and identify the legal risks and implications of business' transactions

Review, prepare and improve company’s contractual agreements

Keep the senior management (Executive Directors) informed of developments in laws and regulations that potentially affect the business

Work closely with the Compliance department to assess the legal implications of procedures and manuals

Guide the Executive Board on legal matters and legal repercussions of decisions

Record Company committee and Board meetings as Company Secretary

Keep Corporate Governance files and improving them where possible

Provide legal advice to senior management in matters related to legal matters pertaining to the license maintenance of the Company towards CySEC
-
Revise and advise on the appropriateness of the internal operations manuals and procedural matters of the Company from a legal perspective

Draft and revise and advise on the departmental procedures and manuals of the Company and ensure their legality is in line with the relevant laws and directives

Ensure the contracts the Company holds towards staff members comply with latest legal requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE

University degree holder in Law or any other relevant subject

Previous experience in a Legal Consultant role

Ability to work within an expanding business and work alongside the Senior Management

Fluency in both Greek and English is a must
