A leading financial institution which offers Investment & Custody services is looking for a competent Corporate Relations Officer to join their Account Management team within the Corporate Banking Department in Malta. The position is mainly focused on the management of existing accounts, Due Diligence on existing clients and ensuring the AML obligations are met. The perfect candidate will experience in a similar role and a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance or a relevant qualification. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborating with Applicants and Introducers of Business for the purpose of maintaining existing Bank Account for Corporate Entities and/or Fund Structures;
  • Customer relationship management – assisting customers with general queries and/or directing their queries to the relevant department within the Bank
  • General relationship management with customers to promote the efficient use of services offered by the Bank including, the taking of deposits, card services, foreign exchange and online banking
  • Perform any other operational task required for the general set-up of existing accounts
  • Client research through various media and with various counter parties or information outlets
  • To assist in the redaction and maintenance of processes and procedures.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance or a relevant qualification
  • Experience in a similar role within a Bank, Financial Institution or a Corporate Services Provider will be considered an asset
  • Good IT knowledge
  • Capable of managing clients’ requirements accurately and efficiently
  • Hands on with can do attitude
  • Practical understanding of workflow analysis and planning
  • Proactive, focused and able to plan and consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong command of English, both oral and written
  • Able to work in a team and willing to learn new skills
