We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller (Turkish Speaker) for a B2B Collections / Accounts Receivable role within our clients Accounting Department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the full credit control and collections process for a portfolio of marine clients
  • Monitor customer accounts, credit limits, and payment terms
  • Proactively chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence
  • Resolve invoice queries and disputes in collaboration with operations, sales, and accounts teams
  • Allocate incoming payments accurately and maintain up-to-date account records
  • Prepare regular aged debtor reports and cash flow forecasts
  • Recommend credit limits and assess customer creditworthiness
  • Assist with month-end reporting and audit requirements
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients while enforcing credit policies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience in credit control or collections, ideally within marine, shipping, logistics, or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, payment terms, and credit risk management
  • Confident communicator with the ability to handle sensitive payment discussions professionally
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of marine contracts, chartering, or port-related invoicing is an advantage
  • Professional, firm, and diplomatic approach
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
