A leading international marine insurance company acknowledged as leaders in their chosen markets, are working with GRS to recruit a Credit Controller for a 12-month fixed term contract, for their Limassol operation. The successful candidate will have previous credit control experience with a high fluency in English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Posting journal entries into the accounting system.

Preparation of debtors’ monthly statements.

Monitoring of outstanding amounts, which include premiums, commissions, insurance brokerage fees and credit amounts.

Liaising with Group account executives.

Allocation of receipts against the outstanding invoices.
-
Preparation of weekly summary reports on key credit control indicators, including unallocated cash; aged debts; and amounts due for commissions.

Preparation of reconciliations.

Addressing queries from debtors regarding outstanding balances

May also aid other Group managed credit control teams or companies, as required.

Perform other similar duties as may be required
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor degree in accounting, economics, finance or any other related field and / or certificate in accounting.

Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations (MS Office).

Numerate and able to understand complex debtor balances.
-
Experience within credit control desirable.
-
Experience of the insurance market will be considered an advantage.

Good communication skills, polite and friendly.

Ability to work independently.

Proactive with ideas and initiative.
