A well-established international software-as-a-service and lead generation platform aimed at financial service consumer lenders, are working with GRS to recruit a Credit Risk Manager for their newly established Limassol Office. The successful candidate will have previous analytical experience in a credit risk related role.   • Develop and enhance scorecards using other techniques to deliver smarter, automated decisions.
  • Analyst responsibilities involving any aspect of the financial process including credit processes and manuals.
  • Evaluate credit applications by analysing financial data, credit reference agency data, application forms and other third-party sources to arrive at fast, fair & appropriate credit decisions.
  • Improve processes by working with internal teams to understand the systems and variables that affect credit management decisions, and drive improvement to the logic, tools and processes.
  • Work closely with our customers (UK) and third parties (Israel) to feedback and make further analysis on loss rates and approval rates.
  • Assist in modeling or creating credit risk policies around new product launches in the Consumer Credit (and potentially in the future, SME) lending space
  • Responsible for looking after the relationship with their UK client, as well as managing the Cyprus office.
  • Reporting directly to the shareholders of the business.
  • University degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Preferably qualified or working towards Chartered Financial Analyst or ACCA.
  • Experience of data analytics in credit risk related roles. Experience in business analytics software would be advantageous.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Commercially aware with first class communication and presentation skill, with a highly motivated and professional approach.
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to work independently, prioritise activities, meet commitments and manage time effectively.
  • Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to make recommendations based on findings, considering commercial and customer implications.
  • Team player willing to grow with the organisation.
  • Focused and methodical.
