GRS is hiring for a well-established company in the aviation industry that provides international cargo logistics and aircraft technical solutions. We are looking for a Crew Planner to handle the planning and maintenance of monthly crew rosters, including FTL, CHZ Contract and FCP, training requirements, standby coverage, and annual leave. The selected candidate will report to the Crew Scheduling Manager. If you have experience as a crew planner in aviation, we encourage you to apply for this Malta-based position today.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan and maintain monthly crew rosters.
  • Ensure all flights comply with regulations and company manuals.
  • Manage crew manpower planning and forecast crew numbers, including new hires, upgrades, attrition, and retirements.
  • Track completion of ground and line training for flight crew.
  • Oversee the flight crew annual leave process to ensure all leave is used within the year and allocated fairly.
  • Issue monthly reports on crew KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Commercial department to assess future schedules and ad-hoc charter opportunities, providing feedback on crew impact and costs.
  • Coordinate hotel arrangements with crew accommodation providers.
  • Monitor flight operations, especially during inclement weather or other disruptions.
  • Continuously audit and verify coverage of all scheduled flights and ensure crew schedules comply with regulations.
  • Notify crew members of any changes to their schedules.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by effectively utilizing reserve crew members
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum high school degree.
  • Additional qualification as an administrative assistant is a plus.
  • Proven experience in crew roster management.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with people from various cultures.
  • Detail-oriented and disciplined.
  • Diligent, reliable, and independent.
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures.
  • Good administration and organization skills required.
