On behalf of our Client, a very well-established Technology Company, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Cybersecurity Engineer to be based in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Firewalls: next-generation firewalls (NGFW), stateful inspection, application-aware filtering, rule/policy management
  • Switching and routing: strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (OSI and TCP/IP models), including:
    • NAT/PAT
    • DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, SMTP, SNMP, NTP, ICMP, ARP
    • VLANs, trunking, STP/RSTP, port security
    • Static and dynamic routing protocols
    • QoS and traffic management
Network Security Concepts
  • VPN: site-to-site and remote-access VPN, IPsec, SSL/TLS VPN
  • TLS/SSL: encryption in transit, certificate management, TLS inspection/decryption
  • Web filtering: URL/content filtering, category-based policies, SSL inspection
  • Email filtering: anti-spam, anti-phishing, attachment/sandboxing, SPF/DKIM/DMARC
  • Intrusion prevention/detection (IPS/IDS): signature- and behavior-based detection
  • Port-based access restrictions, and NAC
  • DDoS protection and rate limiting
  • Cloud edge security: WAF, CASB, SASE/SSE concepts and DLP
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • University degree in Information Technology, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Additional Certifications will be considered as an advantage
  • Strong, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €26,000  –  €33,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
  • 12 salaries (plus bonus)
  • 100% office-based role
  • Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00)
