A well-established CySEC regulated Forex company with global operations, are currently working with GRS to recruit a Data Analyst in Limassol.  The successful candidate must be responsible for interpreting data and analyzing results by using advanced analytical techniques and proactively contributing to the creation of the new Business Intelligence system, with emphasis given on design and delivery of Business Intelligence applications by using PowerBI, SSAS or other advanced analytical and visualizations tools.   • Responsible for generating and delivering high-quality reports, dashboards and other BI solutions that will allow departments to visualize, interact and draw meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Work in collaboration with other departments to automate reports and internal processes/workflows.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting
  • Proactively perform analysis of complex datasets to identify trends and insights that can help the management take better decisions.
  • Train end users on new reports, dashboards, and data analytics tools.
  • Proactively identify gaps and areas of improvement related to data analytics.
  • Use advanced analytics such as data mining and machine learning to predict future outcomes.
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and desired outcomes.
  • 2+ years industry experience in Business Intelligence field
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Very good knowledge of at least one major business intelligence tool (e.g., Power BI)
  • Working knowledge of SQL is mandatory
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of advanced analytics such as data mining techniques and segmentation will be much appreciated
