Our client, a small yet innovative private firm, is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to their team and help enhance their data processing capabilities.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Data Engineer works closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions for data processing, storage, and retrieval.
- He/ She will have a strong background in software engineering, data warehousing, and visualization, along with a passion for working with large and complex datasets to drive business insights and decision-making.
- The Data Engineer will be reporting to the Analytics & Integration Manager.
- Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Collaborating with senior data engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Help building and maintaining data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage systems.
- Supporting data modeling activities to ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance.
- Developing and maintaining data integration solutions to aggregate data from various sources.
- Assisting in the implementation and optimization of data quality and data governance frameworks.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure data availability and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and delivering data solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data engineering and contributing to process improvements.
- Contributing to documentation efforts, including data dictionaries, technical specifications.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Up to 3 years of experience building production-quality software.

Bachelors or Master’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience.

The role requires expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, database management, and big data technologies.
