MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
- Design, build, and maintain our core data infrastructure, including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective data models and solutions.
- Define and create core business metrics and a single source of truth for the company.
- establish data governance, quality, and security standards and procedures.
- Maintain adherence to organizational security policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of confidential and internal data.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Exceptional proficiency in SQL and Python. Proven experience designing and building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines from scratch.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and extensive experience with data modelling, particularly the star schema.
- Hands-on experience with one of the biggest cloud data platforms is highly desirable (GCP including BigQuery is a plus).
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.
- Must be fluent in English.
