A long-standing group of companies operating in marine, insurance, and other industries, is working in partnership with GRS to hire a Data Entry Clerk for their Limassol based operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data, new enquiries and orders for both the Cyprus and European operations of the group. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enter and update data accurately in internal systems, and spreadsheets, including product specifications, customer orders, inventory levels, and sales transactions of both Cyprus and Europe.
  • Ensure data accuracy by verifying entries and conducting regular audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, inventory records, sales reports, and customer data for analysis and decision-making.
  • Maintain organized and updated physical and digital filing systems.
  • Work closely with the sales, procurement, and finance teams to ensure data is consistent across departments. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support data migration projects, ensuring the smooth transition of information between systems. Regularly update the system with new product information, pricing, or other relevant data.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including assisting with preparing documents, and managing customer information.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in business, administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Any previous data entry experience in an office environment, preferably in the oil, lubricants, or manufacturing sector will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with ERP systems and data entry tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring data is entered accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
