GRS are working closely with a Company with extensive international and local experience and expertise in the transportation sector to recruit a Deputy CEO for their Nicosia team. Our Client has invested significantly in modernizing their way of work and making it safer, more convenient and more environmentally friendly for the public. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure sustainability and profitability of the company by delivering a service in accordance with the relevant requirements and implement the vision and mission of the Company through a long-term strategy. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Promotion of the company vision and values throughout the organisation with special attention to Health and Safety
  • Prepare budgets, business plans and resource plans for the Company
  • Develop and maintain a positive and credible image and brand for the company through strong, consistent, and effective public and media relations.
  • Stakeholders’ management to ensure the sustainability of the Company
  • Actively promote a culture within the organisation and externally
  • Work closely with the Department Directors for meeting yearly goals. Manage the performance of the team
  • Lead, motivate and manage the management team, promoting effective internal communication, and offering opportunities for development and growth of the entire team
  • Define and review the necessary KPIs and reporting mechanisms to ensure that there is sufficient, accurate and timely information to manage the business
  • To ensure compliance with service levels, budgets, policies, procedures, Security Policies, Risk Prevention, Data Protection, Quality and Environment, etc.
  • Develop policies and procedures and to comply with all legislation and the strategy. Ensure that local policies are aligned with the Group ones
  • Deliver a service in accordance with established service levels, promoting excellence in all aspects of the customer experience
  • Analysis performance through financial reports
  • Commercial and revenue strategy
  • Developing and implementing new services/products
  • Identify potential leaders within the organisation, including our international training programme, to develop tomorrow’s leaders for the company and for the group
  • Promote a culture where people’s performance to be monitored and rewarded
  • Adequate company structure, organigram, salary structure and employment conditions
  • Ensure succession plans
  • Secure IT strong services for communication and security
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University Degree in Economics or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar management position
  • Proficiency in English and Greek
  • Excellent ability in interpersonal relationship and people management
  • Leadership, results oriented, organized and methodical skills
  • Good communicative, negotiation and influence skills
  • Organization skills
  • Problem Solving skills
  • People skills/Team building skills
