On behalf of our client, an International, well-established, and well-known Forex Broker, GRS are seeking an experienced DevOps Leader, to join their team in Limassol. This role will provide leadership to the Development Operations function of the organisation. The purpose of the role is to mentor and drive development operations standards and practices across the organisation. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in Architecture Reviews and Security audits
  • Contribute to the improvement of development operations processes
  • Define mitigation strategies for technical debt
  • Work with all areas of the business to ensure that the goals and objectives are me
  • Leading in alignment with company’s values
  • Support the architecture, engineering, and security chapters within the business.
  • Bring technical knowledge and leadership to all major projects and technical services within the organization
  • Working with the development operations team, mentoring more junior members of the team, and providing a supportive and technically progressive environment for the member of the team to grow.
  • Ensure that the team is prepared for the challenges that the world of technology poses by teaching them to be flexible, agile in their thinking and innovative in their approach to solving problems for the business
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a lead development operations role
  • Previous experience in Fintech, specifically in Trading platforms and architectures
  • Previous experience in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Blue/Green deployment, Infrastructure as code (Terraform) and deep knowledge of the AWS technology stack.
  • Proven ability to manage and drive change in an organization (technical)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to present to and influence different levels of stakeholders
  • Committed to further learning and development
