GRS Recruitment are looking for a passionate and experienced DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and scale the infrastructure that powers our growing digital platforms. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll play a critical role in shaping our DevOps culture, driving automation, and ensuring our platforms remain resilient, secure, and ready to scale.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Mendix environments.
- Build, manage, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployments, and release management.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Azure Bicep, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and cloud services to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Identify system bottlenecks and proactively optimize platform performance and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Product, and IT teams to enhance the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Implement and continuously improve infrastructure security, access management, and compliance best practices.
- Manage environment configurations, SSL certificates, secrets, and identity/access controls.
- Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms to improve application scalability and resilience.
- Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
- Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve deployment speed, and increase platform reliability.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Strong experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience building and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure Bicep, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with containers and orchestration technologies including Docker, Azure Container Instances (ACI), Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar solutions.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, cloud architecture, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Experience using Git and modern version control workflows.
- Strong understanding of microservices-based architectures and cloud-native applications.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.
