GRS Recruitment are working closely with a private family in Nicosia is seeking an experienced, reliable and highly professional Family Driver to become a trusted member of their household team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the family’s day-to-day life, ensuring that every journey is safe, comfortable, punctual and stress-free. As the family’s trusted driver, you will be responsible for providing professional transportation for family members while also assisting with various day-to-day errands and household requirements. This is not simply a driving position. We are looking for someone who is naturally organised, dependable and proactive — someone who can anticipate what is needed, adapt to changing plans and consistently provide a high standard of service. The position is full-time with a flexible and variable schedule, based on the family’s daily requirements. It is not a conventional 08:00–17:00 role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing safe, punctual and comfortable transportation for family members

Managing school runs and transportation to and from activities
-
Driving to appointments, meetings and other commitments

Handling shopping and family-related errands when required
-
Assisting with practical day-to-day household requirements
-
Planning efficient routes and allowing for traffic and changing schedules
-
Being available for occasional early-morning journeys
-
Supporting evening transportation when required
-
Keeping family vehicles clean, tidy and presentable
-
Ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and reporting any issues promptly
-
Maintaining complete discretion and confidentiality at all times
-
Building a relationship based on trust, professionalism and reliability

Anticipating the family’s needs and taking initiative when appropriate
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven experience as a professional, private or family driver
-
A valid Cyprus driving licence and excellent driving record
-
Excellent knowledge of Nicosia and the surrounding areas
-
A safe, confident and responsible driving style
-
Excellent punctuality and time-management skills
-
A professional, well-presented and courteous manner
-
Genuine flexibility regarding working hours

The ability to adapt comfortably to a changing daily schedule

A calm and discreet personality

Strong attention to detail

The ability to work independently and use initiative

A genuine understanding of privacy, confidentiality and professionalism

Previous experience working for a private family or VIP household would be a strong advantage

This is a full-time position with variable working hours, determined by the family’s schedule and daily requirements.
Depending on the day, the role may involve:

An early morning start for school or other commitments

Afternoon school runs and activities

Appointments and errands during the day

Evening transportation

Occasional additional hours when the family’s schedule requires it

The successful candidate must therefore be genuinely comfortable with flexibility and changing working hours.

If you are looking for a strictly fixed Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 schedule, this position is unlikely to be suitable.
