MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as part of a Scrum team, consisting of developers and testers, working closely with a Product Owner

Design, simulate, develop and deliver new 2G/3G/4G/5G PHY related features or enhancements of existing features

Enhance and maintain 5G NR, LTE FDD/TDD, UMTS & GSM PHY layer stacks

Carry out peer coding reviews

Help to guide the evolution of the product

Work closely with all cellular stacks and RF hardware teams for integration and test of PHY features

Take part in the company’s Innovation Initiatives

Continuous learning and personal development using the 70/20/10 model
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University graduate in software / computer / electronics engineering
-
At least 5 years of relevant experience with wireless communications platforms

Highly proficient in LTE (& UMTS) PHY layer procedures on the NodeB & eNodeB
-
Strong Experience in implementing PHY layer algorithms and PHY layer control for performance on hardware DSP platform

Programming experience with C, assembler and MATLAB

Experience with PHY-MAC interface

Experience with configuration management and bug tracking systems
