An online lead generation firm is looking for an Editorial Content Manager / Head of Editorial to join their team in Malta, Madrid or work remotely. The role requires experience in scaling and understanding of commercially relevant news-based content that drives traffic and converts. Another key requirement is to establish and maintain marketing channels (primarily social media) to drive additional traffic to drive news- and promotional content. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within an SEO-driven lead generation business in the iGaming industry is required. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Taking full ownership and responsibility for our news- and promotional content production;

Strategize, plan and execute dynamic content on our assets;

Ensure the highest content quality on our websites and various marketing channels;

Proactively drive our dynamic content production forward to establish an industry-leading position;

Organize and own the editorial calendar for our portfolio;
-
Providing editorial support and guidelines for our staff and writing team;

Establish social media channels and coverage for our assets;
-
Establish and maintain Google News exposure for our assets;
-
Preparing outstanding content marketing concepts;

Managing existing resources and stakeholders (in-house and freelance) and recruiting additional resources whenever necessary and required;

Communication, task assignment and support of project employees/freelancers and other stakeholders;

Identifying new opportunities and low-hanging fruits to drive our news and promotional content performance and ultimately the company’s success forward;

Any other unspecified tasks and/or duties which may be reasonably required of them in this role. The Employee shall follow all lawful and reasonable instructions of the Company and its director, its Chief Operating Officer as well as of its ultimate beneficial owners.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

At least 2 years of experience in news-driven and promotional content within iGaming

A good knowledge of SEO with a focus on editorial content

A good understanding of and be firm with WordPress environments
-
A good understanding iGaming in various markets, including US
-
Have experience and a proven track record in building and/or maintaining social media channels and exposure
-
A fluent English speaker
-
Creative, proactive, driven and have a high capacity for teamwork.
