On behalf of our client, a fast-growing Cyprus-based energy group in Limassol, GRS Recruitment are seeking an Electric Engineer (Solar energy). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, technical analysis, and optimization of solar PV systems for both client projects and the company’s own PV parks and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaboration with regulatory authorities, grid operators, and permitting bodies to ensure compliance with Cyprus energy regulations and technical standards.
- Support grid connection applications, review technical documentation, coordinate with contractors and EPC partners, and assist in improving system performance and efficiency across projects.
- Close cooperation with project managers, installers, and external consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field
- Eligible to officially sign and stamp engineering projects in Cyprus
- >5 years of experience with solar PV systems
- Good knowledge of Cyprus energy regulations and permitting procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
