On behalf of our client, a well-known transportation company, GRS are recruiting for an Employee Relations Officer to join their team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of HR. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The three main tasks are: employee relations, personnel administration and HR support to Department Manager
  • Serves as an internal consultant to Department Managers on HR related issues
  • Acts as an employee champion and change agent.
  • Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs.
  • Communicate needs proactively with the HR department and Department Managers
  • Conducts meetings with respective departments and areas.
  • Assess line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Director to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., internal communication, coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assist with payroll, training, and recruitment related issues
  • Assists international employees  with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Human Resources /Psychology or any other relevant field
  • At least 3 years in a similar position
  • Coaching qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results oriented
  • Excellent influential skills
  • Ability to adapt easily
