On behalf of our client, a leading law firm providing tailored legal services across all practice areas, GRS Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated Employment Law Associate. The successful candidate will advise and represent clients on a broad range of employment-related matters, including workplace disputes, regulatory compliance, employment contracts, redundancies, and licensing issues. If you have a strong background in Employment Law and a passion for delivering excellent legal advice, this role could be perfect for you.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Assisting clients with the provision of legal assistance and advice.
  • Researching and drafting of legal and judicial documents.
  • Drafting and reviewing of employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Attending to job evaluation and equal pay compliance.
  • Attending court and industrial tribunal sittings and advising on litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Supporting the legal team generally under the direction of the Firm’s partners and collaborating with colleagues across practice areas on multidisciplinary matters.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience with a law firm or as in-house counsel.
  •  A master’s in law degree or sound understanding in related areas (employment law, discrimination, health and safety, and/or data protection law) will be considered an asset.
  • Practical experience in industrial relations and employment law.
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
  • Keen interest in legal developments with a view of establishing one’s profile and growing that of the firm in the practice area.
  • A positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team; to communicate confidently and effectively, to work under pressure and be results oriented.
