A long-established and international advisory firm with offices in Cyprus and abroad, are working in partnership with GRS Recruitment in order to hire an Enterprise Architect for their Nicosia based offices. The successful candidate will have an advisory role through which they will be offering solutions to clients by working closely with the senior leadership of the company. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivering technology advice to our clients, focusing on business architecture models and strategic solutions addressing their key business challenges
  • Working with our clients to assess their Enterprise Architecture standards compliance, providing business architecture and systems processing guidance.
  • Working with senior leadership teams to re-imagine what the client's future technology vision and implementation roadmap, producing solution designs that align to the customer’s IT strategy and meets business needs.
  • Understand the client’s strategy and purpose, working closely with client’s stakeholder teams to define, analyse and execute the target architecture for the project.
  • Leading the development and maintenance of the key architectural deliverables/artifacts, including among others standards, best practices, non-functional requirements, governance, service catalogues, approved product lists, and roadmaps across a specific Technology Domain area
  • Preparing business cases for changes, rationalization, or transformation of applications within the landscape
  • Advising our clients in how to optimise their technology investments.
  • Undertake the delivery of client projects by managing client relationships, developing the scope and engagement plan, managing team members, engagement financials, and overseeing the production of high-quality deliverables.
  • Supporting the continued growth of our business through contributing to propositions, training, marketing, communications, and recruitment activities.
  • Make and guide effective decisions, explaining clearly how the decision has been reached.
  • Working in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
  • Identify ways to increase internal knowledge and skills to support future growth in technology landscape.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in any other relevant field
  •  At least 3 years of experience in defining and implementing IT strategies/architecture or equivalent, preferably in advisory and consulting.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise architecture technologies, best practices and goals as well as common EA topics – capability to translating or mapping business strategy into information strategy
  • Experience with at least two of the following domains: cloud, analytics, data management, infrastructure, access channels, security, applications, software engineering, networking, or systems integration
  • Demonstration of good level of understanding technology product and vendor strategies, products, and customer preferences
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of business processes and associated technology
  • Have experience of working across project lifecycles – from scoping and analysis, design and testing and through to post go live support.
  • Coordination skills of technology related project/program portfolios to ensure products and services are delivered according to the relevant standards and requirements
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Work effectively within an inclusive team and actively support the development of individuals and teams, both formally and informally
  • Ability to keep up with IT trends and innovation.
  • Industry experience within Financial Services, Consumer Goods or Public Sector will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in Consulting will be advantageous
  • Certifications in IT and/or Project Management will be considered an advantage.
  • Technical Certifications (Cloud, Infrastructure, etc.) – Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture or Engineering Certifications, preferred.
