MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project

Prepare tender documents contracts, budgets, bills of the quantities and other documentation
-
Tract changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
-
Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
-
Measure and value the work done on site

Liaise with the client and other construction professionals/site managers and site engineers
-
Select and source construction materials in coordination with the Project Manager / Director

Contract management and record keeping
-
Liaison with the Budget Controller and their team
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor degree accredited in Quantity Surveying
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in working within Construction / Engineering for a Main Contractor and/or subcontractor

Understand the commercial and legal terms of contracts and follow appropriate end-to-end processes from tendering to final settlement

Strong communication skills
-
Organized, motivated a and a great team player
