On behalf of our client, a well-established International Group of companies in Construction, are working with GRS to recruit an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to be based in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team.   • Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
  • Prepare tender documents contracts, budgets, bills of the quantities and other documentation
  • Tract changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
  • Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
  • Measure and value the work done on site
  • Liaise with the client and other construction professionals/site managers and site engineers
  • Select and source construction materials in coordination with the Project Manager / Director
  • Contract management and record keeping
  • Liaison with the Budget Controller and their team
  • Bachelor degree accredited in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in working within Construction / Engineering for a Main Contractor and/or subcontractor
  • Understand the commercial and legal terms of contracts and follow appropriate end-to-end processes from tendering to final settlement
  • Strong communication skills
