A firm which assists gaming companies obtain a license is searching for an Events & PR Officer to join their team in Malta. You will take charge of the firm presence at a wide range of events, both locally and internationally. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in planning, managing, and executing events, ranging from smaller local engagements to large international conferences. Previous experience in PR, communications, or a regulatory environment is a plus. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Event Planning & Management: Lead the planning, logistics, and execution of a wide variety of events—small and large, local and international. Ensure each event aligns with the firm objectives and reflects its values
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the central liaison between internal departments (communications, compliance, etc.) and external partners (event organisers, suppliers, vendors) to coordinate all event-related activities seamlessly
  • Procurement & Compliance: Oversee procurement processes in line with procurement regulations and procedures. Ensure all contracts, services, and supplies needed for events are sourced in a compliant and cost-effective manner
  • Budget & Resource Management: Collaborate with the finance team to plan and monitor event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency without compromising quality
  • PR Support: Assist the team with PR, branding, marketing, and PR writing initiatives. Support the firms efforts to enhance its brand visibility and reputation by ensuring that events, materials, presentations, and written communications reflect the company image and messaging
  • Brand Representation: Ensure that the firms participation in events is a strong reflection of our core values, strategic goals, and industry leadership. Work with the team to ensure that all materials and messages are aligned with the brand
  • Timeline & Deadline Management: Develop detailed event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines. Anticipate potential delays and address them proactively
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: Provide effective, on-the-spot solutions for any issues that may arise, whether logistical or operational, ensuring the smooth execution of each event
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A degree-level qualification. Candidates with lower qualifications will be considered if they have relevant experience
  • Demonstrable experience in planning, managing, and executing events, ranging from smaller local engagements to large international conferences. Previous experience in PR, communications, or a regulatory environment is a plus
