GRS Recruitment is working in close partnership with a growing FX brand in Limassol who are searching for a dynamic and experienced CEO - Executive Director to lead the EU Entity. In this role, you will drive the strategic direction of the company, ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks, and overseeing the management of all key business functions to foster sustainable growth and operational excellence. As CEO, you will play a pivotal role in advising the Board, managing company operations, and ensuring alignment with industry regulations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Collaborate closely with the parent company, providing strategic guidance, advice, and recommendations to support the growth of the Cyprus entity within the Group and in compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Oversee and manage the company’s overall compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Continuously assess and monitor compliance risks, considering the services offered and financial instruments traded and distributed by the company.

Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance vulnerabilities and ensure regulatory alignment.

Lead the daily operations of the business, ensuring efficient management across all areas, and plan and execute strategic business objectives.

Advise the Board of Directors on corporate governance matters, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations from relevant regulatory bodies.

Ensure the company’s operations are fully compliant with applicable legislation while maintaining high standards of service for clients.

Oversee all key functions of the business, including strategy, legal, finance, marketing, compliance, human resources, and conceptual development.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of regulatory reports in line with company obligations.

Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, internal auditors, advisors, bankers, lawyers, and relevant authorities.

Monitor the effectiveness and adequacy of the company’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Design and implement the company’s strategic development plan, including risk management procedures to protect the business.

Review financial performance, monitor capital adequacy, and assess any potential exposures to ensure the company’s financial health.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

University degree in Law, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Management, Banking, or Business Administration.

Solid experience in the Regulated Financial Services industry.

Strong understanding of EU laws and regulations for financial investment firms, with particular attention to their financial impact.

Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, working to tight deadlines.

Advanced analytical skills with a strong understanding of CFDs, trading concepts, and financial instruments.

In-depth knowledge of the Metatrader platform, hedging strategies, and revenue generation models for CFDs.
