Our client, one of the leading Financial Advisory Service Companies in Malta are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their dedicated team and assist with daily internal accounting requirements.  For this permanent role we are looking for someone possessing solid experience within Account Receivables. If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience, GRS look forward to receiving your CV for this Malta-based Finance Administrator role.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing debtor lists, ensuring payment compliance with company policies.
  • Handling bank deposits and account management.
  • Maintaining the Malta Business Registry account.
  • Generating accurate client invoices and credit notes.
  • Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments.
  • Updating cash flow sheets and internal project management systems.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations for the Group.
  • Generating and analysing monthly finance reports.
  • Collaborating with Department Managers for invoicing accuracy.
  • Ensuring adherence to operational and accounting standards.
  • Providing support to the team and serving as a primary contact for accounting queries.
  • Assisting with additional tasks across Finance and other departments as needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within an Accounts / Finance related position.
  • Educated to an A’ level standard, and ideally in possession of, or currently studying for, a basic accounting qualification.
  • Good level of English, both written and verbal, and fluency in Maltese and/or Italian would be considered an asset.
  • Possess a high degree of proficiency using Microsoft Excel, a hands-on knowledge of a professional accounting software system, as XERO.
  • Strong organizational abilities for efficient task prioritization.
  • Capable of both independent work and effective teamwork.
  • Exceptional communication skills, displaying confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Reliability and accountability in executing responsibilities.
  • Keen attention to detail to maintain accuracy in financial tasks.
