GRS Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading Consultancy Services company in Malta to present an excellent opportunity for a Finance & Administration Executive.
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and administration, ideally holding a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. This is a fantastic chance to step into a pivotal role within a dynamic, close-knit team where your contributions will truly make a difference.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and posting financial data into the accounting system on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and process payment requests and issue invoices as required
  • Regular follow up in respect to outstanding settlement of professional fees and/or negative balance
  • Assist the CFO in coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate the completion of audits and tax filings
  • Follow up with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of finance-related inquiries and outstanding payments
  • Provide administrative assistance to senior management, including handling confidential agreements and correspondence.
  • Liaise with third parties on behalf of management, ensuring smooth communication and follow-ups
  • Keep track of key tasks and deadlines, ensuring management is updated and necessary actions are taken
  • Maintain and update company and client databases regularly
  • Ensure effective communication standards are upheld, with correspondence acknowledged within 1 working day and responded to within 2-3 working days
  • Handle additional administrative tasks as required by management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
  • Diploma or equivalent in finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Five-year experience in a professional office environment with fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Medium user level in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Two-year experience in a professional office environment with fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Punctuality and reliability, effective multi-tasking skills, with a meticulous attention to accuracy and detail
  • Proven ability to be proactive, take the initiative and act with tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative, international and team-oriented environment
  • Discreet and trustworthy individual who has the ability to remain flexible and adapt to business needs
