A leading Professional Services Company is looking for a Finance Clerk to join their team in Malta. You will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the finance department by executing daily tasks that require high attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and have obtained the AAT Diploma or in the early stages of completing ACCA certification. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide accounting and clerical support to the finance team

Post bank transactions and conduct monthly bank reconciliations

Post supplier invoices, perform monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts and prepare monthly payment runs

Perform monthly inter-company reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of VAT returns

Handle queries from banks, suppliers, and internal teams

Assist the credit control function with debt collection

Maintain a variety of financial information, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines

Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
