GRS Recruitment are working with an international group of companies who are searching for an experienced Finance Controller to join their team based in Nicosia. The successful individual will oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance, accounting and reporting of the Partnership. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance

Prepare consolidated financial statement according to IFRS

Oversees all statutory and tax reporting duties

Oversee all audit and internal control operations

Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position

Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis

Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, IFRS accounting principles, laws and best practices
-
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
-
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
-
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
-
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
-
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
-
BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
-
CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
