MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement annual budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide insights to management for corrective actions.

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations.

Review and improve financial reporting systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.

Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on resource allocation.

Manage financial operations for forex companies at several jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting obligations and requirements.

Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external advisors to address financial and regulatory matters.

Implement effective financial controls and procedures as necessary.

Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, and operational efficiencies.

Support strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Ensure the professional development of team members through training and performance management.

Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar position within the forex industry.

BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English is a must.

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Proficient in financial software and MS Office/ Excel is a must.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
