A fully integrated pharmaceutical company with manufacturing plants in all five continents, exporting to over 155 countries across the globe is seeking to employ a Finance Officer in Malta who will assist the Finance & Administration Manager with day to day running of the department. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare month end reports for submission to GFOD.
  • Prepare trial balance for management accounts incl. reconciliation of accrual/control accounts.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of bank records.
  • Prepare and monitor supplier reconciliations incl. liaison with other departments to keep ERP up to date.
  • Payroll duties.
  • Prepare payment runs.
  • Post payments on internet banking platform.
  • Prepare NSO documentation.
  • Assist with preparation of VAT Returns
  • Assist with Financial Audits
  • Assist with credit collection.
  • Assist in implementation and testing of new IT projects.
  • Submit applications for government entities.
  • Prepare adhoc reports.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Eligible to work in Malta with no visa restrictions
  • High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or similar.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working as a financial clerk.
