MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements in accordance with IFRS / local GAAP.

Manage accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and intercompany reconciliations.

Analyze complex financial reports and records

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting records.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Prepare and submit VAT, payroll, and other tax returns in a timely manner in collaboration with external advisors.

Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisors, lawyers and other external parties as required.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory obligations.

Contribute to process improvements & automation initiatives to enhance efficiency & accuracy.

Assist in cash flow management and reporting.

Support the external audit process, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.

Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-
ACA / ACCA / CPA qualification (or part-qualified, depending on seniority).

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate, family office, or fund environment.

Experience with Sage 500, Oracle, CaseWare is desirable, and would be an advantage.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel.
