Our client, a reputable Fund Management Company with offices in Cyprus and Athens operating since 2019, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
- Support investment decisions, portfolio monitoring and investor reporting through maintenance of fund models and fund track record; produce scenario analysis and KPI dashboards
- Maintain fund-level cash flow models and liquidity forecasts; monitor SPV cash movements and recommend distributions within covenant and facility constraints.
- Review administrator NAVs, capital account movements and waterfalls; verify management and performance fee calculations (including equalisation and expense caps), capital calls and distributions.
- Prepare periodic investor reports and presentations; coordinate and draft responses to DDQs or requests for information from investors; ensure consistency across materials and data sources.
- Coordinate quarterly/periodic valuation inputs, review asset-level assumptions and outputs, and support the valuation review process.
- Support financial and tax due diligence workstreams on acquisitions and disposals.
- Perform income and expense analysis and cost-optimisation reviews; support financial operations for group entities and fund SPVs, including monthly/quarterly closes; preparation/review of accounting schedules and assistance with financial statements preparation / annual audit.
- Maintain key risk and KPI registers for funds, and assistance with risk mitigation / hedging.
- Support upkeep of business intelligence and property/development management tools; help automate recurring reports and ensure data quality.
- Act as a hub between the AIFM, fund administrators, asset/development management, banks and auditors to keep quarterly cycles predictable and deliverables on time.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Strong academics; ACA/ACCA and/or CFA qualified with 4+ years’ experience (experience with funds and/or real estate preferred).
- Solid financial modelling and analysis skills; corporate finance or other financial planning & analysis background an advantage (sensitivities, scenario analysis, waterfalls).
- Advanced Excel user (including pivot tables, complex formulas, scenario/sensitivity tables). Comfortable with data and reporting tools an advantage (eg Power BI). Systems-savvy and self-learner: adapts quickly to new platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong controls and self-check mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure / to tight deadlines
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and a team player, confident in dealing with people
- Fluent in English and Greek
- High standards of professional ethics and confidentiality.
