The leading name in the IT industry are working with GRS to recruit a Financial Controller to join their offices in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate must be qualified in ACA/ACCA and must have at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for an exciting opportunity to work abroad and relocate to Saudi Arabia.  If you are interested in joining the market leader in the IT industry, we are looking forward to receiving your application for this Saudi Arabia based Financial Controller role.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Counsel, Logistics, Inventory management and Revenue Recognition
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and submit timely monthly management accounts
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end closure process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensures compliance with Group Policies and procedures and provide guidelines for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration and other activities
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis
  • Review of the year-end financial statements
  • Act as a liaison with external auditors and other professional advisors
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or CMA.
  • 10+ years of direct experience in the field
  • Familiarity with ERPs or accounting software
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven experience in a management position
  • Leadership skills, including motivation and organization of teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence organizational financial decisions
  • Superior communication skills
  • Technical skills in financial controlling
  • Time management and ability to work under pressure and within deadliness
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
