MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the timely quarterly preparation of the management accounts of the group companies

Review the management accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness

Direct, oversee, organise, and supervise all aspects of the accounting functions

Plan and organise the annual audit work

Liaise with auditors and facilitate the audit for all companies in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards

Identify any tax exposure of the group companies
-
Prepare ad hoc reports such as expense analysis and comparison reports

To direct and manage the staff employed in the Accounting Department
-
Ensure that all annual tax compliance requirements for all companies are met
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or professional qualification as ACA, ACCA
-
3+ years of relevant experience

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Cyprus tax/VAT regulations

Technical skills in financial controlling
-
Highly focused and organized
-
Time management and ability to work under pressure and within deadliness

Excellent knowledge of the English language

Proficient in the use of Excel
-
Knowledge of accounting software Sage and Cycom (Sofia) will be considered an advantage
