DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team of the Group in all countries.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the General Manager, the Board, and members of the executive management team.
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to build, provide guidance on strategic plans, annual budgets/quarterly forecasts, and to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensures transactions comply with company policy as well as international and local guidelines.
- Responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping and accounting work.
- Prepare profitability reports and cash flow budgets.
- Prepare and deliver financial presentations for client meetings and provide every month in a timely manner all statements of existing customers.
- Participate in client negotiations e.g., contractual discussions.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes, working with operations, corporate accounting, and others to consistently improve accuracy and efficiency of processing transactions while improving internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and take a lead role in enhancing current control procedures.
- Coordinate field management needs with corporate accounting, finance, treasury, IT and other departments as needed.
- Partner with Business Development and other Group teams to provide deal modelling and valuation, solutions to win new business and retain current customer base.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related discipline.
- Holder of ACCA or other similar qualification will be considered as an advantage.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position.
- Working experience in the Asset management/Real Estate Advisory business will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (written and spoken).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Great communication and problem-solving skills.
