A leading Bank/EMI is searching for a Financial Operations Executive to join their finance team in Malta to support and develop financial operations and assist with other elements of the finance department. The perfect candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business & Computing and have excellent analytical skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Settlement & Authorisation Processing and Monitoring

Assist the line manager with Month End tasks

Assist in the management of the debtor management function

Manage the Supplier invoice process
-
Assist in Treasury Management & monitoring of safeguarded accounts

Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
-
Fixed Asset register management
-
Provide support to external audits
-
Implement and maintain financial operations procedures & processes
-
Provide support to our external partners to resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
-
Provide support to our internal (non-finance) teams to improve financial operations.

Provide ad hoc financial reports requested by senior management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business and Computing

Excellent command of verbal, written and interpersonal communication in English
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Excellent analytical skills
-
High Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
-
Excellent time management skills
NICE TO HAVE
-
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

Knowledge of SQL querying language
-
Knowledge in the Payments industry
-
Experience in Chargeback handling and processing
-
Experience in Quickbooks Online.
