A leading legal firm is looking for a Financial Services Lawyer to join their local Litigation team in Malta. The role will cover aspects of Corporate Law, Financial Services and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will have a law degree obtained in Malta and at least 2 years’ experience in financial services. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Advise clients in respect of corporate, banking, regulatory, finance and transactional matters,

Assist with the licencing and on-going compliance obligations of regulated entities including collective investment schemes and investment firms

Guide entities active in or accessing the capital markets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Law degree obtained in Malta
-
Able to converse fluently in both English and Maltese
-
Ideally 2 years’ PQE experience
-
Knowledge in Civil and Corporate/Commercial Law.

Experience working in or with the financial services industry will be considered an asset.

Candidates must be able to work diligently under pressure as part of a team servicing mainly the firm’s international clients.
