A leading Telecommunications company is looking for an experienced Fixed Access Network Engineer to join their Access Engineering Team in Malta. You will be involved in network planning, FTTH and DOCSIS architecture design using the latest technologies and will form part of a dynamic Networks team. The perfect candidate will have a degree in telecommunications or equivalent and have at least 2 years’ experience working with WDM/HFC/CCAP/GPON access technologies. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Researching and recommending technical solutions
- Introducing new equipment and systems
- Maintaining systems under their responsibility
- Preparation of project and systems documentation
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- A degree in a telecommunications related field or equivalent
- Preferably have a CCNA and Linux qualifications
- Excellent communications and organisation skills and be a dedicated team player
- Be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Possess a valid driving license
- A good command of English language.
