GRS are closely working with a luxury resort in Cyprus who are looking to recruit a Food & Beverage Manager. The successful candidate will actively display leadership and guidance to the department when dealing with all aspects of guest contact activities, service, and quality product delivery. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To maintain a high level of guest service by keeping the guests always in mind and being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and requests
  • To have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both guests and colleagues
  • To maintain a high level of team focus by co-operating and supporting colleagues in the pursuit of team goals
  • To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational/environmental procedures
  • To ensures safety in the workplace
  • To actively promote the services and facilities of the Hotel to guests and suppliers
  • To be involved in the budgeting and planning of the next year
  • To be involved in commercial aspects such as marketing and promotional activities
  • To constantly find new ways and means to improve quality and creativity and pro-actively manage the concepts of each F&B outlet
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Graduate of a Hotel Management School
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Food & Beverage Manager within a luxury 4*/5* hotel
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work on menu Planning, Menu Costing and exercise critical and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of F&B accounting and trends
  • Experience in using Hospitality management systems
  • Ability to lead a team, introduce, evaluate, and implement innovative practices
  • Pleasant personality with exceptional communication and leadership skills, team player with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded
  • EU Citizen or EU Work Permit Holder
