A global Medical Consultancy company which provides Air Ambulance / aeromedical services is looking for a French speaking Client Relationship Manager to join their team in Malta. You will be responsible for the generation of proposals, tenders, pricing, and contract negotiations to develop and retain business and ensure the timely and consistent delivery of core company services to clients as well as planning, coordinating and delivery of the Business Development activity. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Journalism or equivalent, be fluent in French & English and have a proven record in a business development or consultative sales role (medical/pharmaceutical highly advantageous).   • Responsible for all direct requests that come into the business for proposals for new opportunities/cross sell and upsell.
  • Assist with sales requests across all key territories.
  • Maintain excellent relationship with the key customers
  • Demonstrate capability to solution sell to client's holistic needs and position company’s broader offering thereby maximising cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts whilst integrating contract requirements with business operations in conjunction with BDM/PMs if necessary
  • Dissect issued tender documents to understand the requirements, communicate to key stakeholders, develop a bid preparation timeline, and coordinate the preparation of documentation in support of tender response.
  • Assist in the bid preparation meetings to ensure all contributors are aligned and working to the agreed timeline.
  • Seek approval from senior management on finalised bid response(s).
  • Ensure a timely upload and submission of bid to client portal. Where required, hardcopies shall be printed and dispatched.
  • Ensure client proposals are in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Planning, prepare and deliver promotional material as necessary.
  • University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Journalism or equivalent
  • Ideally educated to a degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and French
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Editing and proofreading skills
  • Knowledgeable in the use of MS Office tools
  • Strong time management/prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Initiative-taker, ability to work on own initiative
  • Capable of combining commercial skills with technical knowledge
  • Ability to anticipate issues and develop plans accordingly 
  • Proven record in a business development or consultative sales role
  • Background in medical/emergency services would be advantageous
  • Capable of negotiating and concluding business deals with a proven record of profitable sales growth
  • Previous experience in managing corporate clients and presenting to key internal/external customers.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to build networks of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to tackle problems and inconsistencies using logical and systematic approach
  • Experience working in an international environment would be preferable
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in writing of proposals and attending to tenders in a complex business environment
  • Ideally have a bid writing experience
